বিশ্বের সর্ববৃহৎ ছবি প্রতিযোগিতা উইকি লাভস মনুমেন্টস ২০২২-এ অংশ নিন

সুপ্রিয় আফতাবুজ্জামান,

বাংলাদেশের প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনার ছবি তুলে ধরার উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে আবারো শুরু হয়েছে উইকি লাভস মনুমেন্টস ছবি প্রতিযোগিতা। ১ অক্টোবর থেকে শুরু হওয়া এই প্রতিযোগিতাটি ৩১ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত চলবে। প্রতিযোগিতার পাতায় দেওয়া বাংলাদেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনার তালিকা থেকে যেকোনও সময় তোলা যেকোনও স্থাপনার যত খুশি তত ছবি আপলোড করা যাবে। বিজয়ীদের জন্য আলাদাভাবে আন্তর্জাতিক ও জাতীয় পুরস্কার রয়েছে।

২০২২ সালের প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানতে উইকি লাভস মনুমেন্টস ২০২২ পাতাটি দেখুন।

ধানের শীষে ও অন্যান্য উপাদানের Path Improve করা হয়েছে। বিশেষ করে ধানের শীষে খুবিই Narrow outline দেওয়া হয়েছে যাতে প্রতিটি ধান স্পষ্ট ভাবে বুঝা যায়। তাছাড়া ফন্টের পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে যেমনটি বলেছিলেন।

আর আফতাবুজ্জামান ভাই দুইটা বিষয় জানার ছিল

১। Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit এর SVG লোগো কি উইকি-মিডিয়ায় আপলোড করা ঠিক হবে। যেহেতু লোগোটির অধিকাংশ উপাদান 'বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় প্রতীক' থেকে নেওয়া।

২। উইকিতে ভারতের মন্ত্রণালয়-গুলার লোগোতে ভারত সরকারের সীলের সাথে মন্ত্রণালয়-গুলার নাম হিন্দি ও ইংরেজিতে লিখা (উদাহরণ: File:Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.svg), যেহেতু তাদের প্রতিটি মন্ত্রণালয়ের আলাদা আলাদা প্রতীক নেই।

বাংলাদেশের ক্ষেত্রেও কি এমন কিছু করা উচিৎ হবে কী বা করব? যেহেতু বাংলাদেশেরও প্রতিটি মন্ত্রণালয়ের আলাদা আলাদা প্রতীক নেই Xi Knight (talk) 12:44, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

১. আমি নিশ্চিত না। উইকিতেই আপলোড করেন।

২. আমার মনে হয় করা উচিত হবে না। বাংলাদেশ সরকারের কোনও মন্ত্রণালয় অমনভাবে প্রতীক ব্যবহার করছে তা এখনো আমার চোখে পড়েনি। আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 17:12, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

আচ্ছা আফতাবুজ্জামান ভাই। আর File:Government Seal of Bangladesh.svg এর ফন্টে আসল লোগোর ফন্ট থেকে ভিন্নতা মনে হচ্ছে, যেমন- https://www.dpp.gov.bd/ ; https://bangladesh.gov.bd/ ওয়েবসাইটে দেয়া আছে। ফন্টটা File:Seal of the President of Bangladesh.svg এর ফন্টের মতোই। তাহলে File:Government Seal of Bangladesh.svg এর ফন্টের সে অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তন করা ঠিক হবে?

আফতাবুজ্জামান ভাই, মহিন ভাইকে File:National emblem of Bangladesh.svg এর Source এ ( http://bdcode.gov.bd/upload/bdcodeact/2020-11-17-10-48-33-448_Bangladesh_National_Anthem_Flag_and_Emblem_Or.pdf )

এই Url টা সংযুক্ত করে দিতে বলিয়েন। এখানে ছবিসহ সব বিবরণ ও আইন উল্লেখ করা আছে। এতে করে ভবিষ্যতে আগের মত কনফিউসন এড়ানো যাবে।

আর সবুজ রং এর File:National emblem of Bangladesh.svg বিষয়টি খুব সম্ভবত এখান থেকে এসেছে, আমি নিশ্চিত নই। তবে এ আইনটি ২০১১ সাল পর্যন্ত কার্যকর ছিল। যা আর বহাল নেই নতুন ধারা অনুযায়ী। যা হোক আমি এর একটি আলাদা ফাইল আপ্লোড করব File:National Emblem of Bangladesh (Old).svg নামে।

Attribution licence and GODL

Hi, let me clear to you something about these licences. Most of the government of India website donot say that their material are under GODL licence. Not most, all of them say nothing about it. However, the branch of government coming under any ministry whether it is constitutional or statutory body comes under this licence automatically. As for example you can see various images uploaded on commons marked by knowledgeable patrollers from India as reviewed, which are from websites of organisation under various ministries. As for example see the Narendra Modi itself, and check the source of various images uploaded there, their website won't say that they are under GODL licence. Some state government website allows their images under {{Attribution}} licence, example official website of Government of Bihar.-Admantine123 (talk) 05:31, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

@Saurmandal, The font was designed by Md. Tanbin Islam Siyam from Omicronlab. It's under Open Font License (you can download from here, install the font & see the licence). It's free, open source & can be used (even commercially) without any permission. Hi আফতাবুজ্জামান, Can you help me with updating this template: Template:WLE finalist or winner image/bn (you earlier did the translation for)? In the English version (and other versions) of this template this change has been implemented. This change makes the template say that if parameter prizegroup is filled in, that the image was part of a photographic category with the name filled in with the parameter prizegroup. For now two categories are in use: 1. Macro/close-up and 2. Landscapes, which can be both be translated in your language. If also the parameter prizegroupplace is used it gives also the place in the specific photographic category, which is only needed if the place in the photographic category category differs from the place the general category.

রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের লোগো সম্প্রতি চেঞ্জ হয়নি। তবে উইকিপিডিয়ায় যে লোগোটা ছিল সেটা অফিসিয়াল কাজে ব্যবহার হত না। বর্তমানে (২০২৪) যেটি আছে সেটি সম্ভবত ২০১৬ এর পর থেকে দাপ্তরিক কাজে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। রাবির অফিসিয়াল দাপ্তরিক সকল কাজে এখন এ লোগোটিই ব্যবহার করা হয়। রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওয়েবসাইট (https://www.ru.ac.bd/) বর্তমান লোগোটি ঠিক কত তারিখ থেকে ব্যবহার করছে এই তথ্যটা জানা নেই। তবে ২০১৫/১৬ লোগো নিয়ে প্রশাসন ভবনের সামনে ঝামেলা হয়েছিল তারপর থেকে এ লোগোটি ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকতে পারে।

যেহুতু অফিসিয়াল বিবৃতি দিয়ে লোগো চেঞ্জ করা হয়নাই তাই সঠিক তথ্য জানা নেই। উইকিপিডিয়ায় ৯ মে যেটা ছিল সেটার ব্যবহার প্রশাসনিক না, হোয়াইট ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড অনেকে ব্যবহার করতে দেখেছি তবে রাবি প্রশাসন এই লোগো ব্যবহার করতে দেখিনি। বর্তমান লোগোটিও অনেক আগের, কিন্তু কীভাবে চেঞ্জ করতে হয় তা কারো জানা ছিল না, আমিও রকি ভাইয়ার মাধ্যমে আপনার মাধ্যমে পরিবর্তন অবদান রাখলাম। রাবির অফিসিয়াল ফেসবুক পেইজে বর্তমান লোগো দিয়েই ২০২০ সালে খুলেছিল। রাবির অফিসিয়াল ফেসবুক পেইজ লিংক: https://www.facebook.com/rajshahi.university.ac.bd MehediRU (talk) 21:02, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

@Tanvir 360, না। শুধু যেগুলিতে ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স লাইসেন্স দেওয়া সেগুলি।

ইউটিউবের অনুসন্ধানের পাতায় কোণায় একটা ফিল্টার বা ছাঁকনি আছে। সেখানে ক্লিক করে ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স নির্বাচন করে বের করা যায়।

তবে একটা জিনিস খেয়াল রাখতে হবে যে অনেকে কপিরাইট করা জিনিস আপলোড করে ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স লাইসেন্স লাগিয়ে দেয়। আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 14:25, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Need help with my photos

I emailed VRTS with the license details for all of my photos which are marked by the bot as "missing evidence of permission". Please help on what should I do properly about those photos? I also removed them from my flickr account. Kushal Das

@Babaidas: ফ্লিকার অ্যাকাউন্ট থেকে সরানোর দরকার নেই, ফ্লিকারে ঐ ছবিগুলির লাইসেন্স সিসি-বাই-এস ২.০ করে দিলেই চলবে। এছাড়া আপনাকে আমি মূল ফাইল আপলোড করতে পরামর্শ দিব, কেননা আমি দেখেছি আপনার আপলোড করা বেশিরভাগ ফাইলে মেটাডাটা নেই। আপনার কাছে ফাইলগুলির মূল কপি এখনো থেকে থাকলে ফাইলগুলিতে গিয়ে আপলোড করে নিন। ধন্যবাদ। আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 15:56, 12 April 2024 (UTC)

I decided to upload a particular version of the photos (most of the time back then) and those don't have EXIF data. Only the newer photos have EXIF data intact. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2023 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2023) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

@আফতাবুজ্জামান ভাই আমার আপলোড করা সবকিছুতেই আপনি কপিরাইট দিয়ে দিয়েছেন। ওখানে বেশিরভাগই আমার নিজের কাজ, অনেকেগুলো আবার আমার ভিডিও থেকেই স্ক্রিনশট নেওয়া। আবার পুলিশ লাইন্স স্কুল এন্ড কলেজের লোগোটা আমি পিক্সার্ট এ নিজেই বানিয়েছি। আবার The Sky Ranger ফেইসবুক পেজটাও আমাদের । তো আমার ক্যাপচার করা ছবি এখানে আপলোড করতে পারবো না? @Cerium4B, অবশ্যই পারবেন। আমি যেগুলিতে অনুমতি প্রয়োজন ট্যাগ লাগিয়েছি সেই ফাইলগুলিতে কোনও মেটাডাটা নেই ও ফাইলগুলির আকার খুবই ছোট। সাধারণত ইন্টারনেট থেকে ছবি নিলে এমন হয়ে থাকে। ছবিগুলি যদি আপনি ক্যাপচার করে থাকেন, দয়া করে মূল ফাইলগুলি আপলোড করুন। আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 09:48, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

There, I have noticed numerous articles lacking relevant images, which could significantly enhance their informational value. Recently, while editing the article on the Murder of Abrar Fahad, I observed that, although there is a portrait of the individual, it does not visually relate to the events surrounding the murder. I have come across images, including CCTV footage, that were widely circulated by reliable media outlets:1, 2, 3, 4, 5; and are reportedly in the public domain: archive.org.
So, as an experienced Wikicommons media uploader, Could you guide me on how to upload these materials to Wikipedia while ensuring compliance with copyright regulations? @Sm faysal, আপনার প্রশ্নের জন্য ধন্যবাদ। ২০২৩ সালের আগে বাংলাদেশে "কপিরাইট আইন ২০০০" নামে একটি আইন ছিল। ঐ আইনের একটি ধারা ছিল যে, প্রকাশ্যস্থানে বা জনসাধারণের প্রবেশাধিকার আছে এমন স্থানে স্থায়ীভাবে অবস্থিত কোনও স্থাপত্য শিল্পকর্মের চিত্রাংকন, রেখাচিত্র, খোদাই বা আলোকচিত্র তৈরী বা প্রকাশ কপিরাইট লঙ্ঘন হবে না। কিন্তু ২০২৩ সালে পাশ হওয়া "কপিরাইট আইন ২০২৩"-এ এই ধারা সম্পূর্ণ বাতিল করে দেওয়া হয়। যার অর্থ ১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৩ তারিখ থেকে এই জাতীয় আলোকচিত্র তৈরি বা প্রকাশ কপিরাইট লঙ্ঘন হবে।

এখন আপনার যে ছবি দুটিতে অপসারণ ট্যাগ দেওয়া হয়েছে, এ দুটি নতুন আইনের আওতায় পড়ে গেছে। কারণ ছবি দুটি তোলার ও প্রকাশের তারিখ ১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৩-এর পর। ছবি দুটি বাঁছানোর একমাত্র উপায় হলো, যে শিল্পী স্থাপত্যটি বানিয়েছেন তার সাথে যোগাযোগ করে অনুমতিপত্র পাঠানো যে তিনি ছবি ক্রিয়েটিভ কমন্স লাইসেন্সে তার স্থাপত্য প্রকাশে সম্মত। (অন্যথায় শিল্পীর মৃত্যু তারিখ + ৬০ বছর অপেক্ষা করতে হবে)

আপনার কাছে যদি এই জাতীয় শৈল্পিক স্থাপত্যে আরও ছবি থাকে, তবে সেগুলি দুঃখের সাথে উইকিমিডিয়া কমন্সে আপলোড করা যাবে না। (বিকল্প সাইট হিসেবে আপনি সেগুলি ফ্লিকারে আপলোড করে রাখতে পারেন।)

Government seal of Bangladesh এর আগের লোগোটা সরকারি ৯০% জায়গায় ব্যবহার হয়। জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ড, পুলিশ ক্লিয়ারেন্স সার্টিফিকেট ইত্যাদি সব জায়গায় আপনার টার আগেরটা ব্যবহার হয়। আপনার তৈরি লোগোতে বাংলাদেশের মানচিত্র হলুদ রঙের কিন্তু ওইটা হবে গোল্ডেন। আপনার দেওয়াটা কোথাও ব্যবহার হয় না। আমি একজন সরকারি কর্মকর্তা। Nurhossain46 (talk) 17:26, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

About Jessore 4 & 6 constituency Map

I saw you uploaded and maintain the constituency map. So I am requesting you to re-uploaded the map. Because both constituency map are showing the boundaries of 2008 General election. But before 2014 General election. EC changed the boundaries. And current boundaries are same since then. In Jessore 6 constituency encompasses only Keshabpur Upazila. But current map showing Keshabpur and Abhaynagar Upazila. Similar to Jessore 4 which encompasses Bagharpara Upazila, Abhaynagar Upazila and Basundia Union of Jessore Sadar Upazila. This year is the nineteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2024) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 27 September 2025, 23:59:59 UTC.
